Kwara United players are to receive a bonus in appreciation of their goalless draw against Rangers Int’l in their Week 10 NPFL game in Enugu on Sunday.
Kwara United Chairman, Kumbi Titiloye, disclosed this in a chat with Sportsday on Sunday.
Bouyed by the impressive showing of the Afonja Warriors against the Flying Antelopes at the Cathedral, Titiloye said, ‘For our draw against Rangers Int’l in Enugu, I’m redeeming a pledge of N400,000 bonus to the team immediately”.
“Subsequently, any result that ends in a win will attract a double in the region of N800,000 bonus”.
The Ilorin-based side presently in 10th spot on the league table, will next face defending champions, Remo Stars in a Matchday 11 fixture at the Lafia Township Stadium.
Meanwhile, with the weekend’s result, Rangers have dropped to 13th position on the league table.
The Enugu side will travel to El Kanemi Warriors in a Matchday 11 fixture.
