NAPHER-SD Thumbs-up President Tinubu for Rebirthing National Sports Commission (NSC)

The leadership of Nigeria Association for Physical, Health Education Recreation Sports and Dance (NAPHER-SD) has lauded President Bola Tinubu, for his bold decision to bring back the National Sports Commission to pilot the affairs of sports in Nigeria.
In a statement made available to _Sports Day_ , the Association also wished the newly appointed Chairman of the NSC, Mallam Shehu Dikko God’s guidance, and a very successful tenure as he begins the arduous task of revamping the moribund ecosystem of Nigeria Sports, in recent years.
The statement, signed by President of the Association, Professor Emeritus Florence Bola Adeyanju however called for a return to the glorious past, when technocrats, and former athletes of repute, with the requisite training and experience to be given the responsibility of implementing the new policy direction, and programmes of the Sports Commission.
NAPHER-SD also restated its readiness to actively collaborate with the NSC, Nigeria Olympics Committee (NOC), and all Sports Federations, as well as State governments, in providing the expertise that will enhance and fast track the achievement of the goals and objectives, the new Sports Commission is saddled with.
