Mohamed Salah is reportedly considering a return to AS Roma as he prepares to leave Liverpool FC at the end of the season.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the Egyptian forward is open to rejoining his former club, where he previously scored 34 goals in 83 appearances during a successful two-year spell.
However, a potential deal appears complicated due to financial constraints. Salah currently earns around €12 million per season, while Roma’s wage structure is capped at approximately €4 million net, making negotiations challenging.
Despite this, Salah could consider a short-term return to the Italian capital as he evaluates his long-term future.
Meanwhile, interest from Saudi Arabia remains strong. Al Ittihad have reportedly revived their pursuit of the 33-year-old, with Al Qadsiah also capable of matching the financial demands required to secure his signature.
Salah’s next move is expected to be one of the major transfer stories of the summer.
