Milan Ready To Enter Race For Arsenal’s Balogun

AC Milan seem ready to enter the race to sign Folarin Balogun from Arsenal having learned how much it would take to sign him, a report claims.

According to a report from Calciomercato.com, Milan are working on a number of different profiles for the attack and one of them is Balogun, who is now back with Arsenal after his loan spell at Stade de Reims.

The management admire the player a lot and believe he could become the centre-forward of the future, but the obstacle is the cost of the transfer fee which is around €40m.

If the Rossoneri were to focus on the USA international moreso than other targets then they will try to lower the Gunners’ requests. At the moment it’s a ‘difficult operation’ as per the report.

Balogun netted 22 goals on loan last season which has drawn admiration from all over Europe, but whether Arsenal will be able to get a high fee after one prolific campaign remains to be seen.
