United are reportedly ‘considering’ a move for Inter Milan defender Federico Dimarco this summer but face competition from La Liga giants Real Madrid, as per a report by the Indepedent. The 25-year-old, who is an Italy international with 10 caps under his belt so far in his career, helped his current club reach the Champions League final last season but they could face a battle to keep hold of him now.
Dimarco moved to the San Siro in 2018 from FC Sion and has since made 96 appearances in all competitions, chipping in with eight goals. The left-back has also had loan spells away at Parma and Hellas Verona to help boost his development.
Also, United are ‘interested’ in former Manchester City midfielder Romeo Lavia following Southampton’s relegation to the Championship. That’s according to reporter Fabrizio Romano on Twitter, who claims he is on the Red Devils’ radar at the moment but they are prioritising a swoop for Chelsea’s Mason Mount first and foremost.
