All is now set for the grand finale of the 2025 Spires 5-Aside Naija Street Soccer Tournament in Lagos.

The state championship, which started on October 26th with sixteen teams from qualifiers across the five divisions in Lagos, will come to a close today, Saturday, the 15th of November.

It’s been an interesting campaign for the respective teams, but defending champions White Tigers and Papa now stands tall as the top two sides in the competition.

In what was a pulsating semi-final tie, Papa SA secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Chekas Utd, while White Tigers roared the most beating Greater Tomorrow 9-6 in a fifteen goals thriller.

The stage is now set for the final showdown at the Stables Sports Center in Surulere. White Tigers will hope to defend their title, while Papa SA set-sight on what would be a groundbreaking attainment in the clubs history.

The winner of this year’s tournament will receive N5 million, the first runner-up will pocket N3 million, while the third placed team will walk away with a consolation prize of N1 million. There will also be cash prizes for the MVP and the coach of the tournament.
