Ahead of their crucial final league game of the season against Ikorodu City FC, patron of Rangers International F.C., Sir Benson Ejindu, has thrown massive financial motivation behind the Flying Antelopes by promising the players a cash reward of N250,000 for every goal scored in Sunday’s encounter.

Ejindu made the declaration during an exclusive chat with TalkSportsNaija from his base in the United States, expressing confidence in the team’s ability to finish the campaign strongly.

According to the respected football financier and supporter of the Coal City side, the incentive is aimed at boosting the morale of the players as they prepare for what is expected to be a fierce and decisive battle.

“I’m making a promise to the team today through you. Each goal scored against Ikorodu City in this match will be rewarded with the sum of N250,000,” Ejindu declared.

He further revealed that he would officially communicate the development to the club’s management and players through the team captain.

“I will get in touch with the General Manager and the players through the captain to inform them about this development. I wish the team the very best in today’s match,” he added.

Ejindu has remained one of the strongest pillars of support for Rangers International in recent years, consistently providing financial backing and moral encouragement to the seven-time Nigerian champions.

His latest gesture is expected to further ginger the players as Rangers battle to end the season on a high note against a determined Ikorodu City side.

The much-anticipated encounter scheduled to hold at the Onikan Stadium is already generating excitement among fans and supporters, with many expecting a thrilling showdown as both teams chase a positive finish to the campaign.
