    Edo FA roll out Elections Time Table

    Edo state Football Association on Wednesday June 14th roll out it’s time table for the local councils and the state FA elections.
    The Dr Moses Aghedo led board of the Edo FA on Friday met with stakeholders of the game and some of the contestants of the state FA elections  at the media centre of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium to inform  them of the Time Table for both the local councils and FA board elections.
    Going by the time table, sales and submission  of nomination  forms  for the local councils elections is scheduled take place between Saturday 17th June and Wednesday 21st of June 2023, across the three senatorial District of Edo state.
    According to the Edo FA secretary Unujiaga Andrew, elections for the five local councils in Edo central will hold in Ekpoma,  with venue at  the secretariat of Esan west local Government Area by 10am on the 23rd of June 2023, while that of Edo North  will come up on June 24th 2023 by 10am at  Auchi, the administrative headquarters of Etsako west local government Area of Edo state.
    For Edo south, elections will take place at the media centre of the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin city, on Monday June 26th 2023 by 10am.
    Meanwhile, the elections time table for the Edo state Football Association has it that,  Monday the 19th of June to Wednesday the 28th of June 2023 has been scheduled for the sales and submission of nomination forms, with a deadline of Thursday June 29th 2023 for the return of completed forms, while screening of candidates by the electorial committee has been fixed for Saturday July 1st 2023.
    The publishing of successful candidates by the electorial committee is scheduled for Monday the 3rd of July 2023.
    The hearing of  appeals arising  from the screening of candidates will hold on Wednesday 5th July 2023, with the publishing of the final list of successful candidates slated for Thursday 6th July 2023.
    Meanwhile, the manifesto night is scheduled for Friday 7th July 2023, and the elections proper fixed for Saturday 8th July 2023 in Benin city.
    The acting chairman of the Edo state Football Association, Dr Moses Aghedo has expressed confidence that the state FA elections will be a huge success while appealing to all those taking part in the excexise to  respect the guidelines and time table as presented by the Edo FA, promising a  free , fair and credible elections.
