The Cowrie 25 Club, a prominent Pan Benin Professional organization, is set to recognize and support the academic excellence of deserving students at its upcoming Scholarship Award ceremony today, Friday, November 14, 2025, at the University of Benin’s Rev. Dondon Hall.
The event, scheduled to commence at 12 noon, will be graced by the Vice Chancellor of the University of Benin, Prof. Edoba Omorogie SAN, as the Special Guest of Honour. Dr. Toni Ogunbor, Head of the Education Committee, and Engr. Osa Owieadolor expressed the club’s commitment to promoting education through scholarships to deserving students from Edo South Senatorial District.
This significant event highlights the importance of education and the club’s dedication to giving back to the community. The Cowrie 25 Club has been instrumental in promoting educational development and human capacity building in Edo State through its Tertiary Scholarship Programme ¹.
