Lamine Yamal will be missed in the club world cup with a painful disqualification. The club world cup promises to feature some of the sport’s biggest names, with the likes of Lionel Messi, Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe all due to be involved with their respective clubs.

But Christiano Ronaldo and lamine Yamal are out due to certain fifa rules for qualifications.

The Fifa world cup is a two-team per country  : Stating that the tournament only allows two teams per country except when more than two teams from the same country have won the Champions League in the last four years. This is where Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid took the lead. And Barcelona’s win of La Liga in 2023 did not l guarantee them any chance.

Barcelona isn’t participating in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup due to the set rules . Atletico Madrid had coefficient point compared to Barcelona which had a lower four year accumulated points.

UEFA rankings has made it plain on how Atletico Madrid secured the second spot for Spain with 67 points, while Barcelona ranked 12th with 61 points.

Al-Nassr the team in which Christiano Ronaldo has being very fantastic but a total of hundred goals plus, yet his team won’t be participating in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup his team didn’t qualify for the tournament despite Al-Hilal securing the spot for Saudi Arabia by winning the league title last season.

Nonetheless, a slim hope for Christiano Ronaldo as FIFA has created a transfer open window from June 1 to 10, allowing participating clubs to register up to six new players. With this in view Cristiano Ronaldo may potentially join a qualified team like Botafogo from Brazil or Wydad Casablanca from Morocco, for the chance of participating.

Another hindrance for his participation is his worth as a player. It appears that no club in any of the aforementioned country can afford Christiano Ronaldo.

BesidesFIFA president Gianni Infantino has emphatically confirmed that discussions are ongoing for Ronaldo to play with another team if contract terms do not create another challenge for the super star.

Chelsea and Manchester City are the only English teams competing in the blockbuster new-look 32-team tournament.

Trent Alexander-Arnold will make his Real Madrid debut during the competition after Los Blancos paid Liverpool a £10million fee to complete his switch from Merseyside to Spain early.

The Club World Cup promises to be a thriller and not one you will want to miss.Group A: Palmeiras (Brz), Porto (Por), Al Ahly (Egy), Inter Miami (USA)
