A care home for the elderly in the society had been established in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Located in Bodija, Ibadan, the home has already emerged as the number-one elderly care home care service provider, career caregiver training facility, and nursing agency in the country.
According to a statement by its proprietor and managing director, Assurance Imperial Home, Mr. Dolapo Preboye, Assurance was established on September 20th, 2019 by a United States of America (USA)-trained nurses specializing in geriatric care with over 30 years of international experience, Mrs. Tessa Osibogun-Olasewere.
Mr. Preboye, a former United States of America Ernest and Young senior auditor, and USA Department of Health Consultant, was born and raised in The United States and dreamed of a vision to impact the lives of the elderly in Nigeria.
He said he moved to Ibadan in August of 2019 to establish a home for the elderly and to add value to bringing international technical know-how and experience to Nigeria.
The outfit, according to the statement by Mr. Dolapo Preboye, who studied Health Management at Lynn University, USA, “came up while searching for my purpose; to impact society and culture, I found myself caring for the elderly and doing my best to make sure they enjoy their days in good health with family and friends to the best of my ability.
“The ‘japa’ syndrome also added to my being passionate for the industry as the elderly were being left alone with inexperienced individuals not medically inclined, when their children travel abroad.
Mr. Preboye said Assurance Imperial Home for the Elderly is located in a “serene, quiet, and safe environment in Bodija, Ibadan. Assurance Imperial Homes offer services such as an international standard care home, career caregiver training, and a nursing agency.”
“If you need a place for your elderly loved ones to live and be taken care of, Assurance Imperial Home has an elderly care home located in Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria; and it is open to your loved ones 24/7. The home is a geriatrics home that specializes in palliative care, dementia, and Alzheimer’s care.
“If your loved one is being discharged from the hospital or needs medically-inclined aids for home care in Ibadan, call on Assurance Imperial Home. Well-vetted and trained caregivers assist the family with the process of recovery while in the hospital and the comfort of their homes with medically-inclined companions, auxiliary nurses, and experienced nurses.
