Ademola Lookman, one of the most creative Super Eagles forward, has reportedly refused the salary offer from Galatasaray who are keen on his transfer, this took place after discussing the potential move with his country team mate Victor Osimhen.

Lookman is seeking an annual salary of €9 million, double what he accepted from Inter Milan in the summer. Galatasaray had previously attempted to sign the Atalanta winger in the summer but were unsuccessful due to the high transfer fee and salary demands.

According to reports, Atalanta is demanding a transfer fee of no less than €60 million, while Galatasaray is willing to pay €40 million. Despite the challenges, Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk remains interested in signing Lookman and is formulating a formal offer to test Atalanta’s resolve.

The 27-year-old has failed to secure an exit from Atalanta for the second consecutive summer, but is believed to still desire a move.

Galatasaray’s interest in Lookman is part of their efforts to strengthen their squad, with Victor Osimhen already on their roster.

However, the financial implications of signing Lookman may be a hurdle, given the club’s recent spending on Osimhen who has been absolutely fantastic and too tough for any defense to suppress and to his credit ,Galatasaray has confidence and trophies restored since the arrival of Victor Osimhen.
