Those Are Pictures Of Four Years Ago- Christian Obodo.
By Joseph Isokpehi in Benin City
Retired former Nigeria international  Wilson Oruma has refuted claims trending on social media that he is in an insane situation.
When the ugly trend resurfaced on social media recently, it hurt lovers and followers of the former invincible leopard of Warri,  Bendel Insurance Fc, and RC Lens of France midfielder, to react to the false story.
Former Super Eagles and Florentina defensive midfielder, Christian Obodo said the 1993 FIFA under 17 world up winning captain for Nigeria, Wilson Oruma is doing fine as they often chat and visit.
“I want to ask here, what do they stand to gain going about  such a crazy story about Wilson Oruma, nothing’
“Wilson is fine and healthy, he doing good, and like being quiet”. Obodo stated.
“Those pictures trending on social media are from four years ago when he had some issues, please disregard them’.  Obodo posited
While speaking with Ogo Clarkson of  Oasis Magazine,   former Nigeria Junior International and younger brother to Wilson Oruma, Pastor Daniel Oruma was advised to get a live video to counter the story of the former Olympic Marseilles player.
And he took no time to contact his elder brother to send a video of Wilson Oruma and his brother Dominic Oruma who was also a goalkeeper for Nigeria under 20 flying Eagles taking a walk at his residence in Lagos on  May 2nd 2023.
In the video, Wilson Oruma smiled and greeted his fans saying he is okay now and Dominic appealed to the general public to disregard the story that Wilson liked leaving a quiet and peaceful life for those who know him.
