The Nigeria Boxing Federation (NBF) has thrown its weight behind the highly anticipated Balmoral Group Promotions and Amir Khan promotions “Chaos in the Ring” pro boxing event in Lagos this weekend.

The event slated for Friday, May 1st at the Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, is aimed at projecting both local and international boxing in the State of Aquatic Splendor.

The “Chaos in the Ring 4” has drawn a great deal of attention for its high stakes, 50-50 fight cards. The event merges competitive boxing with the best blend of entertainment, including celebrity bouts.

Some of the fights on the card include an International Welterweight Challenge between Michael Mckinson and Mohammed Sahnoun. Samuel Antwi and Paul Kamanga will square for an International Super Welterweight Challenge, while Elvis Ahorgah will lock-horns against Joe Lawz for the International Super Middleweight crown.

The International Super Lightweight Challenge will be between Stephano Amos and Raheem Animashaun and Loren Japhet will face-off against Basit Adebayo for the WBO Super Lightweight Title.

Popular skit maker Carter Efe and musician Portable will further entertain the crowd in their widely publicised celebrity matchup.

The vice president Nigeria Boxing Federation Hon. Omonlei Imadu praised Ezekiel Adamu CEO Balmoral Group Promotions and Amir Khan promotions for their dedication and investments in pro-boxing in Nigeria.

Imadu also commended the leadership of the National Sports Commission (NSC) for their support and direction in the ongoing reforms in Nigerian boxing.
