West Ham United produced a dominant display to beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 4–0 in a crucial Premier League clash that strengthened their survival hopes. The result lifted West Ham out of the relegation zone while increasing pressure on Tottenham Hotspur, who slipped into the bottom three for the first time in years due to other results.
Konstantinos Mavropanos gave West Ham the lead with a header in the 42nd minute. After the break, Taty Castellanos struck twice in quick succession in the 66th and 68th minutes to put the game beyond Wolves. Mavropanos then added his second goal in the 83rd minute to complete a comprehensive victory.
Wolves extended their poor away run to 18 Premier League matches without a win and now face a difficult fight to avoid relegation, sitting 13 points from safety with only 18 points left to play for.
