In a significant development within the political landscape of Niger State, the National Secretary of the Movement for Electoral Integrity in Nigeria (MEIIN), Hon. Mohammed Mohammed Alhaji, has been elevated from his previous role as Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor to the prestigious position of Chairman of Senior Special Assistants to His Excellency, Mohammed Umaru Bago.
The advancement has been widely described as a well-deserved recognition of Hon. MM Alhaji’s consistent dedication, loyalty, and outstanding service to both the office of the Governor and the people of Niger State. His tenure as SSA was marked by a reputation for diligence and an unwavering commitment to governance and public service.
Reacting to the announcement, the leadership of MEIIN expressed praise and satisfaction over the elevation. In an official statement signed by Hon. Adewale Fasade, Director General and National Convener of the organization, the group described the appointment as a testament to Hon. Mohammed Alhaji’s hard work and integrity.
“On behalf of the leadership and entire family of MEIIN, we warmly congratulate our National Secretary General on this remarkable achievement,” the statement read. “We pray that Almighty God grants him greater wisdom, strength, and grace for even higher service and impactful leadership in this new role.”
The organization also called on members, associates, and the general public to join in celebrating what it described as a moment of divine favor and professional recognition in Hon. MM Alhaji’s life.
As Chairman of Senior Special Assistants, Hon. MM Alhaji is expected to play a more strategic role in coordinating advisory functions and strengthening the administrative effectiveness of the Governor’s office.
Observers note that his elevation could further enhance policy coordination and governance delivery in Niger State, given his experience and close working relationship with the administration.
