In a move to reposition her football career for greater exploits,
Joseph Ogechi Favour has penned a deal with Cameroon female side, Authentic FC Douala.

The experienced centre back, who recently joined the topflight side has immediately settled into action with the club, with two games already under her belt, losing one and earning a valuable away draw in one of the two away games played so far.

They will face Ita Mbong FC Bamenda on Saturday in their first home fixture of the season.

The former Edo Queens captain and Nasarawa Amazons stalwart, who is on a new trajectory in her career is hoping that this move will put her in pole position to attract national team call up after being invited at the age grade national team set ups.

Joseph, still nurse the ambition to play in Europe with Authentic FC just being a launch pad or starting point to her long held dream.

“It’s been a great experience since joining this club and I hope we can achieve great things together as a team”, she said.
