    Grassrunners Football Club wing wizard Agbeloye Begins Man City Trials

    Grassrunners Football Club wing wizard, Angelo Agbejoye has begun a two weeks trials with English Premier League giants, Manchester City, following his invitation by the top club.

    The skillful left -footed youngster’s trials, we scooped started from 27 October -10 November, 2025, as clearly stated on the invite letter.

    The Remo, Ikenne based club side, which has been very intentional in it’s strategy of discovering talented African players – no matter their location; has been very successful and instrumental in transfers of some key Nigerian players since their establishment two years ago.

    Flying Eagles duo of Emmanuel Chukwu and Precious Benjamin who features for Hoffenheim in Germany are amongst their players but the club’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Olugbenga Victor Agbejoye says the City opportunity is a recognition of the hard work being put in by the club.

    “We’re happy about the opportunity offered to our player, Angelo Agbejoye by Man City, which we have no doubt he would grab with both hands.

    “It’s a recognition of the hard work we are putting in here as a club, and we hope this will further cement our relationship with Man City.

    “Angelo is a top talent which City will just be a perfect club for his development.

    “He has everything a player needs to succeed at that level – speed, skill, strength, discipline etc”, he stated.
