Governor Seyi Makinde has reaffirmed his earlier pledge of a special match bonus to Shooting Stars following the club ‘s recent improved performance especially the away victory over Warri Wolves.
The Governor also expressed strong confidence in the club’s current leadership, describing Taiwo Salami’s led administration as the driving force behind 3SC’s progress.
Engr. Seyi Makinde made the calls when the Chairman of 3SC, Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami, paid a courtesy visit to Governor Seyi Makinde in the early hours of Thursday to present a progress report on the club’s developments since his appointment.
Also in attendance were Engr. Akin Akinleye, Executive Assistant to the Governor on Sports Development, and passionate 3SC supporter Idris Animasaun who also doubles as the director of 3SCFANTV.
During the meeting, Hon. Salami expressed his deep gratitude to Governor Makinde for his unwavering support of Shooting Stars. He presented the club’s official merchandise to the Governor and extended a special invitation to attend our NPFL Matchday 7 fixture, which the Governor graciously accepted.
“His Excellency’s steadfast support remains a powerful source of motivation as we continue striving for greater success, both on and off the pitch,” said the 3SC boss.
This visit further strengthens the bond between Shooting Stars and the Government of Oyo State, reinforcing a shared vision to restore the glory of 3SC and deliver pride and joy to the teeming supporters of the Oluyole Warriors.
