3SCFanTV Boss Idris Animashaun Reflects on Criticism and Loyalty, Shares His Experience with Edith Agoye

An architect by profession and the founder of 3SCFanTV, Arc. Idris Animashaun, says his outfit is a non-profit organization (NPO) but an entity established for public benefit rather than for profit, has revealed that his commitment to Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) has always been rooted in love for the club and a genuine desire to see it grow.

In a chat with newsmen in Ibadan, Animasaun shared his thoughts on the club, saying over the years, he had supported everyone who has worked tirelessly for the team. “I have also spoken up when necessary, not out of personal interest, but in the pursuit of progress.”
He explained that last season, he was called all sorts of names for defending Coach Gbenga Ogunbote. Harassed, emotionally bullied, and abused across his different social media handles, yet he remained steadfast.
His words: “And to set the record straight, when results weren’t going our way a few years ago, I was among the first to publicly call for Agoye out. That decision wasn’t driven by personal differences with Edith Olumide Agoye, but by the reality that change was needed to move the club forward. You can’t keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect a different result.”
Animashaun added that what amused him and stands out is Agoye’s exemplary conduct both during and after his exit. “At the pre-season in Ikenne, he was the very first to welcome me. We had a warm and professional conversation, where he spoke highly of the progress currently being made at the club (3SC) and his admiration for the chairman’s courage in leadership.”
3SCFanTV boss said Agoye’s approach reflects genuine love for the club and a level of professionalism that deserves to be celebrated; he stressed that “that is how true professionals behave; they separate personal emotions from institutional growth.”
Animashaun, however, averred that “there will always be vacancies at the club. Coaches, players, and administrators will come and go, but what must remain constant is our collective support for those currently serving.”
He added that beyond individuals, we must appreciate the structures being built, because they will serve as a foundation and template for those who will come after. “At the heart of everything, the love for 3SC must always reign supreme. That love means supporting the present, respecting the past, and building for the future.”Photo captions: CEO of 3SCFansTV, Idris Animashaun (left) and former 3SC Coach, Edith Agoye
