Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan-designate, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rasheed Adewolu Ladoja, to felicitate with him on his forthcoming ascension to the revered throne of Ibadanland.

Leading the club’s entourage was the Executive Chairman, Honourable Taiwo Lekan Salami, accompanied by the Chief Operating Officer, Bunmi Fadayomi, and the Sporting Director, Adepoju Tobi Samuel.

During the visit, according to Ibrahim Akindele, 3SC media lead, club presented the Olubadan-designate with the official home jersey and a merchandise box, a gesture that reflects his long-standing support for Shooting Stars and the club’s appreciation of his unflinching encouragement.

The visit also afforded the management the opportunity to seek royal blessings from Oba Ladoja, whom they described as one of the team’s staunch supporters and a proud symbol of Ibadan’s heritage.

Speaking on behalf of the club, Hon. Taiwo Lekan-Salami expressed gratitude for the Olubadan-designate’s steadfast commitment to the growth of football in Ibadan and Oyo State, reaffirming Shooting Stars’ desire to uphold the values of excellence, unity and community pride.

The Olubadan-designate, in his remarks, commended the club’s efforts on and off the pitch and assured the management of his continued support, while extending his best wishes to the team as they continue their NPFL campaign; he also promised to be present at one of our games as a special guest.
