The stage is set for an exhilarating display of speed, skill, and determination as the Bobsled and Skeleton Federation of Nigeria (BSFN) presents the 2026 Winter Olympic Trials.
The event promises to be an exciting showcase of Nigeria’s top bobsled and skeleton athletes, all vying for a spot on the country’s Winter Olympic team. The trials are being held ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympics, and the athletes are expected to give it their all in a bid to secure a place on the national team.
The trials will feature star-studded lineup, some of Nigeria’s most talented bobsled and skeleton athletes, including:
– Khadijat Lawal Folawiyo, Skeleton Champion
– Ugochukwu Dickson, Brakeman Champion
– Kehinde Otukoya, Skeleton Champion
– Shekinat Alawode, Brakeman Champion
– Pertual Nwanna, Bobsled Driver and Champion
– Hammed Yusuf, Bobsled Driver and Champion
These athletes have been training tirelessly under the guidance of their coaches, and they are expected to put on a thrilling display of speed and skill.
The event is expected to be graced by several distinguished guests, including:
– Mallam Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the National Sports Commission
– Hon Bukola Olopade, Director General of the National Sports Commission
– Dr. Solomon Ogba, President of the Bobsled and Skeleton Federation of Nigeria
– Dr. Adebimpe Adeniyi, Vice President of BSFN
– Seun Adeniyi, Technical Director of BSFN
– Ezuika Chidinma, Chief Operating Officer of BSFN
– Dr. Seun Adigun, Director of Sports, BSFN
– Other members of the BSFN, including Muraino Mosudi Olatunji, Lucky Mayor, Felix Awogu, Mallam Abdulmalik Ibrahim, Dr. Bilikis Oniyangi, and Alhaji Haruna Bako.
