    Prestina Ochonogor’s Thrilling Display : Reigning African U20 Champion Wins 2nd National Title in Long Jump

    The AFN National Athletics Championships, held at Yabatech, witnessed a thrilling display of talent and skill, with Prestina Ochonogor once again proving herself to be a force to be reckoned with in the women’s long jump event. The reigning African U20 champion showcased her exceptional abilities, claiming victory in the long jump final with an impressive mark of 6.52 meters.

    This win marks Ochonogor’s second consecutive national title in the discipline, solidifying her position as one of the top long jumpers in the country. Her outstanding performance was a testament to her hard work and dedication to the sport.

    The competition was fierce, with other talented athletes vying for the top spots. Jarret Glory put up a strong fight, securing the silver medal with a leap of 6.00 meters. Akinsanya Ismaila Ajoke demonstrated her skills as well, taking home the bronze medal with a jump of 5.88 meters.
