    Emiloju FC Wins Maiden Edition Of Showtime Youth Cup

    Emiloju FC Wins Maiden Edition Of Showtime Youth Cup

    Emiloju FC has emerged champions of the maiden edition of showtime youth cup.

    The grand finale played at Mobolaji Johnson Arena saw Emiloju winning first ever trophy by defeating Oskey international by three goals to one.

    First half goals from Ayodeji Thomas Adefila, Onawumi Caleb Oluwafemi,and Madubugha Donald Elochukwu were enough for Emiloju FC to win first ever trophy.

    It was a historic moment for Emiloju FC family as Adedoye Samuel Ayobami emerged as the Player of the Tournament winning ₦1.5 million, while precocious Chijindu Miracle Anaikwe who saved two penalties at the semi-final was named as the Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament, also carting home ₦1.5 million for his exceptional goalkeeping.

    Emiloju FC was rewarded with ₦11 million as prize money for winning the tournament and ₦3million individual awards for Best Goalkeeper, and Most Valuable Player totalling ₦14 million

    Speaking at the grand finale,chairman of Emiloju FC Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh tagged Showtime Youth Cup as a top-notch tournament

    He said,”l want to commend the organizers of showtime youth cup for giving us an amazing experiences.

    “Showtime Youth Cup is a top-notch tournament devoid of controversies and manipulations

    “This is the one of the best grassroot football tournaments we have ever attended

    Alhaji Musiliu Jimoh Alao further applauded the professionalism and transparency displayed by the organizers.

    “Our Prize monies were paid immediately we finished the closing ceremony,that speaks volume of the organizers’ Integrity

    “The semi-finalists were given full sets of jerseys, hoses, and hand gloves.

    “They have also promised to give the two finalists sets of customized jerseys.
