    NDSF Handball Competition Heats Up as Akwa-Ibom, Edo, Delta, and Imo Record Wins

    The Niger Delta Sports Festival’s handball competition continued to captivate audiences on its third day, with several thrilling matches taking place.

    In the male category, Team Akwa-Ibom, the host team, narrowly defeated Team Rivers 11-9. Meanwhile, Team Ondo dominated Team Imo, winning 22-17 and significantly improving their chances of advancing in the competition.

    In the female category, Team Delta delivered an impressive performance, defeating Team Imo 14-6 and solidifying their position as a top contender in the handball competition.

    Team Edo also celebrated a win, edging out Team Abia 8-6 in a closely contested match.

    With these results, the handball competition is intensifying, and fans are eagerly anticipating the next round of matches. Currently, all matches are still in the group stage, and the competition is expected to become even more fierce as the teams vie for the top spots.
