Football in rural areas has faced significant challenges, leading to its marginalization. Rural areas often receive less funding for sports development, infrastructure, and programs but with Kadiri Football Academy that challenge is over.
The program has come with an open arm to receive talents of the sport, so as to bring about the lost uniqueness we once had in our sport history.
The Commencement of the open screening program for youth football development by Kadiri Ikhana Football Academy Auchi has been slated for today, Friday 7th March, 2025 at 4pm. Basically for following age grades- Under 12, under 14 and under 16.
All old footballers are to report at Auchi Polytechnic Sports
Complex, Auchi. Likewise the following day : Saturday 8th March, 2025 by 8am and 4pm at the same venue respectively.
This exercise has been designed to continue every weekend until the required numbers of players needed are successfully registered.
This is a prospective agenda for sports lovers, participants and spectators.
This program is open for all players who are not on existing contract with anyone or organization.

This program is designed to combat certain challenges of the sport such as the Limited access to training facilities After the selection there will be access to indoor training facilities, hindering player development during inclement weather.
