A new sports initiative, Stella Stars Sports Academy has debuted in Benin City, Edo State with former Super Eagles dazzling winger, Ndubuisi Okosieme as Chief Technical Adviser.
Founder/President of Stella Stars Sports Academy, Engr Darlington Nosa Obakpolo, is a US- based Nigerian said the establishment of the academy aims to hunt and nurture young talents adding the academy is attracted a pool of budding footballers eager to become world future stars.
“The academy exists to give hope, give back to the community where budding talents abound but are wasting. We do not want these young boys and girls to waste. Their talents are needed to grow sports development and growth in our country and other parts of the world especially for self sufficiency. It’s about giving young boys and girls in our community the opportunity to dream big, achieve their goals, and become champions in their generation”.
Under a profound Management & Technical team, the Stella Sports Academy, registration and screening are ongoing with training pitch at the serene Negbenebor International School, off Limit/Ugbor Road, GRA, Benin City.
In addition, Media Officer of the Academy, Mr. Osaruyi Asemota (De Royal) enjoined interested parents, guardians and the public to register their children & wards between the ages of 8 – 12 & 12 – 18 by visiting its office at shop 25, Igbinigie Shopping Plaza (upstairs), 201 M.M Way, Benin City, Edo State.
Under Okosieme’s guidance, an ex-Super Eagles dazzling right winger, the Stella Stars Sports Academy is poised to provide top-notch training and mentorship to its pupils, helping them achieve their dreams in the world of football.
