The management and staff of Lagos based outfit, FC Bethel Sporting are over the moon following the signing of one of their protege, Abraham Ojo by a Bulgarian club, Botev Plovdiv.

The promising midfielder who recently turned 18 years, began his football tutelage with FC Bethel before he was spotted at the club by agent Paul Ojo
Omamomo at a scouting program at Ikenne, Remo in Ogun State.

Omamomo, who is also the Head scout for Russian club, FDC Vista, initially took him to Russia where he has been for some years before he landed him the Bulgarian transfer after a successful trials with the topflight team.

“We are really excited and we rejoice with one of our own, Abraham Ojo, who just signed his first professional contract with Bulgarian club, Botev Plovdiv”.

“I recall vividly when he came from Gboko, Benue State, with other players for trials many years ago. It was just like yesterday”, said coach Nathaniel Olagunju, FC Bethel Sporting Head coach/CEO.

“We actually transfered him to P Sports Academy after agent Paul Ojo Omamomo selected him at a scouting program in Ikenne, Remo.
“He took him to Russia and today we are happy that he has eventually signed with the Bulgarian premier league side”, he concluded.
The Botev deal is Ojo’s first professional contract since he just recently turned 18 years, but he is a top talent that will catch the eyes of bigger teams in Europe in no distant time
