    NPFL25: Edo FA Hail Bendel insurance FC First Half Performance

    The chairman of the Edo state Football Association has commended the entire coaching crew and players of Bendel insurance Fc for the great performance they exhibit to end the first half of the 2024/2025 NPFL season on a good note.

    Speaking to the media, immediately after the match Day 19 encounter between Enyimba Fc and Bendel insurance Fc which ended goaless in Aba, Fred Newton Erhunmwunse who monitored the encounter from Benin City, said the result is good for the Benin Arsenal to end the year and the first half of the season on a positive note, adding that things are gradually taking shape for the former CAF Cup winners.

    ” This is a good result for Bendel insurance, as the NPFL first half ends, the team has really improved after the ban to play three home games behind closed doors.

    ” I am very happy the team is doing well again, they deserved our commendation, they picked valuable away points in their last three games to Akwa United, Heartland Fc and now nine times former NPFL champions Enyimba Fc, they also won all three games played behind closed doors in Benin City, the technical crew led by Greg ikhenoba have done well and the team has now moved out of the red zone, it will only get better for Bendel insurance, the Edo FA boss stated.

    The elated Erhunmwunse stated that with the new Board of the Edo state sports Commission now fully on ground Bendel insurance Fc are poise to return to were they belong in the Nigeria premier Football League, he tasked the coaches and players to do more as the league title has not be won or lost yet, he used the opportunity to call on the fans of the state owned Team to keep the support coming for their darling team but caution them to be patient with the team and abide by the rules of the organisers of league

    Following the barren draw away in Aba on Tuesday to Enyimba Fc, Bendel insurance moved up the league standing in 15 position with 21points from 19 Games

    The coach Greg ikhenoba led Bendel insurance Fc will take on Enyimba Fc in Match day 20 of the NPFL when the second half of the season resume on January 25th 2025, with their fans fully on ground after serving out the three match ban.
