    Boxers Set For War of The Warriors 2.0 Boxing Show in Ibadan

    The lovers of the game of boxing in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State, will be treated to a spectacular show, with the second edition of the War of the Warriors Boxing Show scheduled for Friday, 27th December 2024, inside the indoor sports hall of Obafemi Awolowo Stadium, Ibadan.

    The promoter and organizer of the event, Alh. Aremu Kazeem, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Moon Dream Promotion, has promised that notable boxers from Ibadan, Lagos, and Japan will be confronting each other for honours in different weight categories of boxing during the festive show.

    The boxing bouts that have been sanctioned by the Nigeria Boxing Board of Control (NBBofC) will see the Japan-based boxer, Kanda Joy, facing Seyi Oroku in a national challenge bout.

    The Chairman of the Oyo State Chapter of NBBofC, Hon. Gbenga Opaleye, has called on all the teeming boxing lovers in the city of Ibadan to come out en masse to cheer their boxers during the boxing show, assuring them of the safety of lives and properties considering security measures in place.

    The main fight of the night is the bout between Konda Joy, a Nigeria-born, Japan-based boxer, and Seyi Oroku of Nigeria, and the other fights of the day include a bout between Samuel Moses Apataroro and Kolapo ‘Spirit’ Toheeb.

    In the other fights of the day, Nureni Maruff Aree will also face Basiru Lukman, popularly known as Selimu, while Temitope ‘Tyson’ Oluwatoyin will lock horns with Samba Toheeb and Oyesetan Olalekan Samsudeen will confront Sulaimon ‘Smart Lion’ Sodiq in a national boxing challenge bout.
