    EDO-BORN US BASED MARTIAL ART EXPERT BOOSTS PROMOTION OF COMBAT SPORTS IN  NIGERIA

    Private initiatives are boosting combat sports development in Nigeria with enthusiasts like multi coloured belt holder, Mr. David Jesurobo Osaghae supporting through the David Osaghae Judo & Sports Foundation.

    His foundation, the first private combat and Sports foundation in Edo State, is driving promotion efforts.

    The combat sports meet kicks off  in Benin City, marking a significant step forward for Judo in Nigeria.

    According to David Jesurobo Osaghae, US-based multi coloured belt Judo expert, international mixed martial arts referee, instructor, and Chief promoter, the foundation aims to rally support for combat sports in the country through promotion of the games, this would encourage the younger generation to take up combat sports as profiting games that addresses both physical and mental needs of the body.

    The combat sports meet which holds at the David Osaghae Judo & Sports Foundation, number 5, Obayuwana Close, off Egbiri, Irhirhi, of Airport Road, Benin City, is expected to attract combat sports enthusiasts from all over the country and will provide a platform for Nigerian sports combatants to exhibit their skills.Key highlights of the sports meet include a Seminar . The tournament fights will take place at 10am Saturday at the same venue.
