    Nigeria To Host 25 Countries In Africa Military Games – To Gain Massively With The Competition Says CDS

    Chief of Defence staff General Christopher Musa has assured of a ready Nigeria to host twenty 25 Countries in the 2nd edition of Africa Military Games slated for Abuja.

    In a media parley with journalists, the CDS urge Armed forces military to co-exist, exhibit their talents and establish good relationships with other countries, while also believing that the nation will make statements and have a grand organised event.

    Nineteen sporting events will take place and all of them with the exception of shooting will take place at Moshood Abiola Stadium. Nigeria will be participating in all 19 sports.

    It is going to be one of the most attended military games. The last was held 22 years ago in Nairobi, kenya. Facilities are being made ready for athletes to compete. Sports Federations are contacted to work in all all games as well world bodies who sent in their representatives to help officiate games as well as anti doping agency.

    Opening ceremony will be held on Wednesday the 20th of Nov. Artiste like Olamide, Dbanj will be performing at the event.

    Competition starts 18th to 30th of Nov. The Chief of defence staff thanked the the president of Nigeria, Ahmed Tinubu, Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike as well as several individuals and cooperate bodies who have supported both in cash and kind to host a world class grand event.
