CAF CC: Enyimba Holds Etoile Filante in Bamako

Nigeria’s only side, still in the hunt for glory in CAF’s Inter-Club Championships, Enyimba FC of Aba played out a thrilling 0-0 draw with Burkina Faso’s Etoile Filante, in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup second round tie in Bamako on Friday.
There have been three previous confrontations with Burkina Faso teams and yesterday’s encounter was the second time that Enyimba had had to face Etoile Filante.
The record nine-time NPFL Champions, and twice CAF Champions League winners, are however unbeaten against all their opponents from Burka Faso.
