Ahead of the 2023/2024 football season, more clubs have shown interest in the services of Super Eagles and Leicester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho.

Despite Iheanacho’s efforts towards the tail end of last season, Leicester City suffered relegation and so many players are expected to depart the club.

The former Manchester City striker is among the players that is expected to leave the club and numerous clubs within and outside England have indicated interest in his services.

The latest to join his suitor is Turkish Super Lig giants Besiktas and they are ready to open a discussion with the King Power club this week.

Nottingham Forest is among the English club that has shown interest in the Nigerian international but it remained to be seen if Iheanacho will remain in English football.

If the move to Besiktas gets the greenlight, Iheanacho will be the third Nigerian to play for the club after Daniel Amokachi and Ike Shorunmi.
