    U20 World Cup: Nigerian Coach Unveils 25 Players

    U20 World Cup: Nigerian Coach Unveils 25 Players

    Ahead of the U20 FIFA World Cup in Argentina, Nigeria’s Flying Eagles gaffer Ladan Bosso has listed 25 players for competition.

    The 2005 first runner-up qualified for the tournament after they finished 3rd in the 2022 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

    51 players started camping in Abuja under Bosso and they were engaged in several warm-up games against the local sides.

    The players listed consist of 4 goalkeepers, 6 defenders, 7 midfielders and 8 attackers.

    Among the 25 players listed 12 participated in the recent CAN U20.

    Listed Players

    Goalkeepers: Chijioke Aniagboso, Nathaniel Nwosu, Saheed Jimoh, Utoblo John Audu

    Defenders: Daniel Bemeyi, Benjamin Fredrick, Solomon Agbalaka, Augustine Njoku, Abel Ogwuche, Israel Domingo

    Midfielders: Samson Lawal, Daniel Daga, Tochukwu Nadi, Victor Eletu, Joshua John, Ibrahim Abdullahi, Kehinde Ibrahim

    Attackers: Ibrahim Mohammed ‘Beji’, Jude Sunday, Lawal Salem Fago, Emmanuel Umeh, Haliru Sarki, Ba’akaka Aji, Vincent Augustine, Kingsley Awodi.
