8TH NYG: Ogba, Okowa, Daphey ,Others To Oversee Success Of Games Says Oborevwori
Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has approved the constitution of 7-man Local Organising Committee for the 8th National Youth Games, NYG scheduled to hold from 10th to 20th September, 2024 in Asaba, the Delta State Capital.
Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sir Festus Ahon in a statement, on Thursday, said the Committee has Chief Solomon Ogba as Chairman while other members are; Chief Tonobok Okowa; Chief Chinonye Aliyu Daphey; Chief Victor Onogagamue; Mr Onoriode Oborevwori; Mr Harrison Ocholor and Mr Festus Ohwojero is member and Secretary.
The LOC is to oversee the successful hosting of the 8th NYG. Meanwhile, the Joint Technical Meeting (JTM) has been slated for 18th-20th August, 2024.
